Montessori Teacher Education is an investment in your professional future. We know that enrolling in a teacher education program requires a significant financial investment. Tuition costs at HMEI include coursework, practicum visits, field consultant travel expenses, meals and snacks during in-residence sessions, and studio supplies. There will be an added cost to adult learners for books and supplies. This cost is estimated at between $250.00 and $500.00.

NOTE:  Every year, the American Montessori Society awards teacher education scholarships to aspiring Montessori teachers in support of their professional growth. The application period for the 2026 – 2027 academic year is February 1, 2026 to mid-April 2026.
